The primary mission of our Conservatory program is to provide a solid music education that brings children to fluent music literacy. Our pedagogic approach develops in students the ability to listen with understanding, to perform with artistry, and to read, write, improvise and compose music. It is the quality of musicianship training that drives the quality of the performances.

• We teach small-group music classes that are separate from the rehearsals, so that each student can be taught thoroughly in a fun and relaxed environment.
• We use music and play together, to develop a deep and abiding love of music in the children.
• We teach how to care for the voice, how to use the voice correctly, and how to protect the voice from many ill-advised musical activities, especially in small children.
• We teach children to understand, read and write music notation (music literacy).
• We provide highly trained teachers who intelligently employ effective methods for teaching music literacy.
