Rachel Kershner teaches musicianship classes in our conservatory program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music education with a voice concentration from Towson University and earned her master’s degree in education from the American Kodály Institute at Loyola University Maryland. Rachel is also certified in the music education approaches of Kodály and Orff through the teacher training programs at the American Kodály Institute and the San Francisco International Orff Course. She currently teaches lower and middle school music at the Key School in Annapolis, Maryland and resides in Howard County, where she co-directs the Howard County Children’s Chorus, an honors ensemble for singers in grades 2-5.
