Come sing with CCM!! We are holding January auditions for children between the ages of 6-8.
Upcoming Audition Dates: Thursday, January 8 and Friday, January 9
Auditions are about 20 minutes long. The process is fun and playful, not intimidating, and is designed not only to assess developmental readiness for our program, but to choose an appropriate class placement for the student. CCM will be represented in the ACDA Eastern Region Honors Choir. Congratulations to the six CCM Concert Choir students who auditioned for and were selected to perform as part of this year's American Choral Directors Association conference honors choir in Providence, Rhode Island.

The 2025 Maryland Young Voices Festival is an all-day event that brings together community youth choirs from across the state of Maryland for a day of singing and sharing and closes with an unforgettable final concert for families and friends to enjoy.
Members of Children's Chorus of Maryland's Lyric and Concert Choirs will travel to Charleston, West Virginia to participate in a 4-day festival with other choirs from around the country.
This festival is a 4-day event that will immerse our choristers in the music and culture of the Appalachian Mountains. Folk music and culture is a cornerstone of the Kodaly method of music which CCM teaches, so this unique opportunity is a perfect fit with our curriculum and teaching methods. Choristers will also have the opportunity to work with the acclaimed Dr. Rollo Dilworth.
Dr. Rollo Dilworth is an active conductor, composer, educator and clinician who has taught choral music at the elementary, secondary and university levels. He is Vice Dean and Professor of Choral Music Education at Temple University's Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts. His research interests are in African American music, music education curriculum/ instruction, social emotional learning, and social justice. Dr. Dilworth's compositions and arrangements can be found in the catalogs of Hal Leonard, Colla Voce, Santa Barbara, Walton and EC Schirmer.
