Alexandra Fyhr teaches musicianship classes in our conservatory program. A native of New Jersey, she holds a bachelor’s degree in music from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, completed her MD teaching certification at the Peabody Institute, and earned her master’s degree in education from the American Kodály Institute at Loyola University Maryland. Alexandra holds certifications in Kodály, Feierabend, and Orff approaches to music education through the teacher training programs at the American Kodály Institute, the Feierabend Association for Music Education, and the San Francisco International Orff Course.
Alexandra previously taught the Crickets program with CCM. She currently teaches lower school music at the Friends School of Baltimore. Alexandra serves on the board of the Greater Baltimore Orff-Schulwerk Association and is a frequent international presenter.
