2018-2019 Season

Sing 'n Play Shindig

August 25 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
CCM, Cranston Building, Towson, MD

Parents and young children (approximately 4 and older) can drop in throughout the event to play singing and movement games, make musical instruments from recycled materials, enjoy delicious food, do arts & crafts, as well as chat to teachers and staff.

This is a free event. All materials and refreshments are included. To make sure we have enough craft materials and treats for everyone, we encourage you to let us know you plan to come by signing up.

Voices of Peace
43rd Annual Holiday Concert

With the guiding theme Voices of Peace, the three choirs will present selections that emphasize the need and yearning for peace and recognize the gentle presence of peace in the world and between people. Musical selections welcome the holiday of Hannukah, anticipate the celebration of Christmas and find beauty and peace in all that is the month of December. Composers to include Hildegard von Bingen, Claude Debussy, Bob Chilcott, Mark Patterson, Nancy Grundahl, PINKZEBRA, Flory Jagoda and David Eddelman.

Due to live recording, children under age 5 will not be admitted. Wheelchair accessible seating is available upon request. Please call our office at 410-494-1480.


Peace for the Holidays

Towson University's SECU Arena

February 8th, 2019 at 7:30 PM

The Concert Choir of Children’s Chorus of Maryland will perform the National Anthem at Towson University's SECU Arena for the Baltimore Blast, Charm City’s soccer team. The home game versus Utica’s City FC is on February 8th, starting at 7:30 PM. The Baltimore Blast is now in its 38th consecutive season. Tickets available at www.baltimoreblast.com.


Bizet's Carmen with Annapolis Opera

March 15th, 2019 at 8 PM & March 17th, 2019 at 3 PM

CCM joins Annapolis Opera at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, Annapolis


Demo Day

April 13th, 2019 from 8 AM to 1 PM

Parents, Children & Teachers are invited to observe classes and rehearsals in our Conservatory program. The Open House & Music Class Demonstration Day is on Saturday, April 13th, 8am to 1pm. Parents, children (5 1/2 and older) & teachers can drop in throughout the day to observe music classes, talk to staff & enjoy refreshments. Children can also try out a fun, play-based sample music class with an experienced teacher at 11:15 am.

Families who sign up for auditions on the day of the Open House will receive a $10 voucher towards the $25 audition fee.

The Children’s Chorus of Maryland presents “Of Stage and Screen” on May 5, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Gordon Center in Owings Mills. Our three choruses, made up of singers ages 7-17, will present timeless favorites from the land of Opera, the Broadway stage and film. Please join us for selections from Magic Flute, Hansel and Gretel, The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, Dr. Doolittle, The Pirates of Penzance and more!
