Children's Chorus of Maryland empowers children through music and promotes the fine art of music. We believe that music communicates the essence of the human spirit, and that the voice is truly the "first" instrument.

PURPOSE OF FRIENDS:

Foster public awareness of children's choral music performances.
Raise funds for scholarships and special projects.
Inspire young minds and hearts.
Educate the public on the benefits of early music education.
Nurture the love of music in children.
Develop public appreciation of choral music.
Serve as a children's choral music resource to the community.

OPTIONS & OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP:

Organize or host social functions.
Greet the public at events.
Assist with concert or stage management.
Share expertise in your areas of interest.
Research choral music or music education topics.
Assist with publicity and promotion.
Attend meetings and steering committee sessions.
Produce or speak at special events.
Provide expertise in technology: computers, recording, photography, etc.
Archive historical documents and recordings.
