Use your voice to give back! The Children’s Chorus of Maryland & School of Music has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. All CCM proceeds from #GivingTuesday will be donated to the Betty Bertaux Scholarship Fund. Our Founder, Betty Bertaux, believed that no musically inclined child should be turned away from the Children’s Chorus of Maryland due to an inability to afford the tuition. In that spirit, CCM offers a robust scholarship assistance program. While almost 50% of our families currently receive scholarships, requests for support often exceed available funds. Please help us #GivetheGiftofSong and make a donation on November 28th, 2017!

Organizations worldwide participate in #GivingTuesday held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The campaign is celebrated after the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday in order to kick off the holiday giving season. It inspires people to collaborate, improve their local communities, and give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.

There are so many ways to join the Children’s Chorus of Maryland on #GivingTuesday. Did you know many companies match the donations given by their employees on an annual basis? We encourage you to submit matching gift requests with your employer! CCM also accepts gifts in kind.
