• 15 (Sat.) - CCM PERFORMS WITH BSO AT ANNUAL GALA CONCERT
  Children's Chorus of Maryland is delighted to join the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, directed by Maestra Marin Alsop, in celebrating their 25th Anniversary Gala Celebration Concert.  Other performing groups include:  Baltimore Choral Arts Society, U.S. Army Herald Trumpet, Morgan State University Choir, Johns Hopkins Yong Han Lion Dance Troupe, and the Frederick Douglass High School Marching Drums.  Please plan on joining the evening of celebration!
  
  
• 27 (Thurs.) - NATIONAL ANTHEM FOR AN ORIOLES GAME!
  Select Children's Chorus of Maryland singers will perform the United States National Anthem along with the Canadian National Anthem as the Baltimore Orioles take on the Toronto Blue Jays at Camden Yards.  The game begins at 7:05pm.  Come join the fun!  Play Ball!

• 3 (Sat.) - PERFORMANCE AT OAKE EASTERN DIVISION "TUNE-UP"
  CCM is honored to be a invited to perform at the Organization of American Kodály Educators (OAKE) Eastern Division Conference held on the campus of West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania.  Members of CCM's Concert Choir will give a half-hour performance for attendees as part of Saturday's conference schedule.

• 9 (Sun.) - 32nd ANNUAL HOLIDAY CONCERT & RECEPTION 
  Join us in ushering in a season of festivities season as Children's Chorus of Maryland performs holiday music both in ancient and contemporary styles.  The afternoon will feature performances and collaborations with a string quartet.  Promising to be an afternoon of celebration, contemplation, and beautiful music, the concert will be held on December 9th, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts, 3506 Gwynnbrook Ave, Owings Mills.  For more information, please call 410-494-1480. 
  
  
• 20 - 22 (Thurs.-Sat.) - NUTCRACKER WITH THE MOSCOW BALLET
  CCM is delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with the Moscow Ballet in their annual performance of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker here in Baltimore. Evening performances (Thursday - Saturday) will begin at 7:30pm; there is a Saturday Matinee at 3:00pm.  All performances will be at the Lyric Opera House, 140 Mount Royal Avenue, Baltimore.  A portion of the money from tickets purchased through CCM will serve as a fundraiser.  Interested?  Please call 410-494-1480.

• 7 (Fri.) AND 9 (Sun.)CARMEN WITH THE ANNAPOLIS OPERA       Since its premiere in 1875, Carmen has entranced audiences around the world with its vibrant passionate arias and orchestration. Maestro Ron Gretz will conduct the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra. Select CCM students will join members of the Annapolis Opera Company for an exciting performance! The opera will be performed at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, Annapolis on Friday, March 7 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 9 at 3:00 p.m.

• 27 (Sun.) — 32nd ANNUAL SPRING CONCERT & RECEPTION       Sound the trumpet! Strike the viol! Sing a simple song! Come listen to how Orlando di Lasso, Benjamin Britten, Ralph Vaughan Williams, George Frideric Handel, Henry Purcell, Leonard Bernstein and many others celebrated music throughout the centuries. • 12 (Sat.) — SEND-OFF CONCERT FOR HAWAII TOUR 
  Plan now to join us on July 12th as we bid "Bon Voyage" to our Tour Choir who will be heading for Hawaii the next day!  Before they leave, however, they would love to share a bit of song with you at an afternoon concert.  Plan to join us 3:00 p.m. at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 100 E.
